How can the Black Sea Region contribute to improved global security?

The event was organized by EURISC Foundation ? IRSI in partnership with the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs Romania and the Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
The participants, experts from relevant international organizations, NGOs and governmental representatives, debated the recent evolutions related to major challenges to security in Black Sea Region, focusing on those related to WMD proliferation. The event was structured in plenary sessions and three break-out groups:
-Trans-national challenges in the Black Sea region
-WMD proliferation and illegal trafficking in the Black Sea region
-Improving inter-agency coordination and the contribution of NGO?s network
